Fishing from Methven

Methven is centrally located to a wealth of fly fishing, the below rivers and lakes are mostly within a day trip range from town. There are Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout and Salmon within the area. This list is not a complete list and information is of a general nature as fisheries do change from year to year, and I haven't name the smaller more sensitive streams, simply to name everything risks them being thrashed, so you'll still need to do your home work also, which after all is part of the fun. The google map at the bottom of this page is a useful tool
