- Future Rivers is rallying support for Angler groups (NZFFA & NZSAA) in legal battles to preserve our National Water Conservation Order (NWCO) Rivers. The declining health of these rivers is a pressing issue. Our current focus is on the Rakaia River in Canterbury, a pivotal case that will impact all NWCO Rivers based on its outcome
