When night fishing the Marabou lumo flies are deadly. Charge the fly up using a torch or better still a camera flash unit. Mainly used in lake fishing for rainbows, particularly close to inflowing streams and rivers where fish gather before running to spawn. Then fish them close to the bottom and vary your retrieval speed.
