Changed my life - No more having 2 pairs of glasses swinging round my neck and having to change every time I want to tie something. These CDX polarised glasses are clear and comfortable and the lower bifocal magnifying section works perfectly without interfering with general vision. I’m buying another pair for home so I can read outside on sunny days

Great Hackle Pliers - These are amazing to work with. Although they are expensive they are of super high quality and build. I have both the Stonfo and C&F hackle pliers, however these are my number one pliers to use. Highly recommended.

Wonderful service - I bought a Douglas fly rod - but not from the Flyshop. I snapped one of the sections first time out. Douglas USA put me on to Steve Gerard. Within two weeks I had a replacement blank and the rod is 'as new' again. It cost me $20 - amazing, I didn't even know it had a warranty! Best service and support I have ever experienced.

Excellent tool - Best splicing tool for NZ conditions. Doesn't rely on glue over splice system and only needs replacing when end of fly line wears out or leader needs replacing;
