One of the best streamer rods, hands down. - A lot's obviously been written about these rods but most of it's been based on the value-for-money they offer. I started out buying one for a cheap streamer rod to take friends fishing on the Tongariro and then discovered how addictive that medium action is. Make no mistake, these are a beautiful rod blank that definitely has it's place in anyone's arsenal. If I'm casting streamers on sink-tips all day long for a few days in a row I pretty quickly end up w a 6/7/8wt Base in my hands over some far more expensive rods starting with S. The medium action responds well to the true AFTMA line weight so don't over line, and even go under if you've got a more aggressive stroke.
