The Carty's Colobriscus is the creation of well known Murchison Fly Tier and Guide Peter Carty. It represent the Colobriscus mayfly nymph which is available to trout from November through March and is found in mainly back country rivers and streams. The adult mayfly is represented by the Kakahi Queen
