STROFT® ABR is our Strofts newest product. The emphasis here is on wear and abrasion resistance.Thus the abbreviation ABR (abrasion). A further performance target is the simultaneousachievement of the STROFT® GTM's tensile strength. Both performance targets are achieved by atempering process that in addition applies high pressure. Through this process, the surface is highlycompressed and in so doing made less susceptible to UV rays, to scratches and to coiling. The highlycompressed surface lessens the hygroscopicity of the STROFT® ABR, while the wet tensile strength isfurther improved even by longer suspension in water. Because of this, the line is somewhat harder but stillsufficiently supple. Even under the roughest applications, whether fishing over rocky foundations or overmussel beds, as well as in salt water and during intense insolation, the tensile strength is preserved to adegree that no other monofilament fishing line can match. STROFT® ABR is, therefore, the right fishingline for all types of fishing that must guarantee full reliability even after the hardest constant use.
