The Intuitive Casting Taper (ICT) Fly Rod is a new addition to the CD-Rods collection. These rods are made of a 100% graphite 57MSI blank and feature optimal hoop strength and flexibility. Rene Vaz, an award winning Fly Fisherman tested the rods strength in the last few months. The objective of the trial was to 'try and break it!' Rene caught some trophy trout.... with the rod still very much in tact.

The ICT fly rod really is the strongest on the market! The ICT has a fast tip action, perfect for short roll casts and bow and arrow casts. Those who enjoy fishing spots with overhanging trees, flax and cliff edges willlove this rod, it is perfect for those 'tight' situations - whilst also having power to throw long casts with control.

    Thank-you so much for your excellent service. I recieved the CD ICT fly rod and the fly tying kit at the end of last week. That Rod is seriously sweet! I've been practicing with it in the garden. Hopefully in a few weeks i'll be hooking up with some barracuda and kingfish. I'll let you know how I get on. Appreciate all your help!

    Dear Steve,
    Just now I came back to Prague. I was really delighted at the rod. I used it mostly for the lake fishing. I was surprised by its action that enabled long casts and gentle playing the large rainbow trout simultaneously.

    Hi Steve......Also a note on my ICT rod I got from you earlier in the year. As a fishing tool it continues to impress, I’ve matched it with a 5wt Ridge Line, does it throw a line both short and long with ease. I’m not the best caster out there but I reckon the rod’s improved both my distance and accuracy whilst the rod does a great job of subduing fish in good time. I did cast a 6 weight ICT during the Flylife 6 weight shoot out and was equally impressed, one of these is most likely my next flyrod purchase.
