Description; The Hare & Copper (Hairy) GC

A Top Fly, in fact maybe even 'the' top nymph for NZ fly fishing. Make such you have some in your box. Tied hairy for that buggy look that catches fish. To help break through the surface film it pays to wet these flies first before casting, or apply some sink gel. They do have lead built in for extra weight.
