So this years trip took me to one of my secret char rivers way up north of norway.

There is a video at the end.

The trip was for 12 days, our plan was to fish the char river for 6 days and spend the rest of the days on trout.

after a 3 hour hike we arrived at the char river and instantly we saw a fish rise, it was not a big fish but it was the first fish of the trip and I couldnt wait to present my fly, after a few rejections it finaly took, a 2lb char was landed and returned.

During the afternoon we didnt see a lot of fish so I kind of knew that we where a bit to late, most of the char had most probably decided to swim back down to the lake.

But we did spot a really nice 5lb char feeding like crazy in a big deep pool.

it was my friends turn to fish and he took it on the first try.

second day we saw another fish this time a 3lb fish and it was my turn, first try and the fish was on.

during the rest of that day we didnt see any fish and we decided to head back to the car and try our luck with the trout river.

we did have some amazing trout fishing however we didnt film or take a lot of photos.

We did take a few photos but funny enough it was only on the really tiny trout.

I try and be better next year :)

Enjoy the video.

Cool. I think they must be one of the most beautiful things on this planet, the Arctic Char. Loved the editing of the first sequence.

For your reference....

Thanks Kakahi

Haha yes imagine the surprise I got when he kissed me .... I instantly thought that this is going to be a strange week sleeping in the same tent with this man in the middle of nowhere.

But that was the last kiss thank god.

I am a bit sad that the quality of the video is so bad, on my laptop it is super crisp HD but once I transfer the film to the macbook pro´s movie editor the quality goes down.
I did choose to transfer the files in HD but it still ends up bad... I need a new Movie editing program.

The hatches we had that night at the beginning of the clip was crazy but it was just half of the insects that usualy hatches there.
