A frustrated Wallabies outfit have highlighted three dubious refereeing decisions which washed away their Bledisloe Cup and Tri-Nations dreams at a rain-sodden Eden Park.
Good game guys  the world cup will be great to watch.

I thought the ref was very fair.  There were dubious calls either way and he was consistent.  Not a bad effort for his first 'big' match.

The wallaby scrum was exposed for the mess it was (Get some new props!!!) and whilst we have work to do on our line outs, as the game wore on, the Wallabies wore out.  Their defence was very good although more than a few times they were very flat and they were lucky the ref didn't ping the backs more often for off side.

All said and done though, good luck to Gregan.  A bastard of a man but a great player for the Wallabies over the years.  Could never deny his commitment to ensuring the ref got the rules right!   :D

Yeah Gregan - as much as you hate him ya gotta appreciate his skills. Hate to say it but hes one of the most versitile half backs I've seen. An excellent player.

I had a lot of time for the ref. I appreciated when he admitted he wasnt certain when he called the knock on (which actually came of mccaws head and an aussie arm) which halted the ab's making an unchallenged run for the aussie line.

Matlock didnt like the ref for sure, but I thought he made a lot of fair calls. He put a stop to a lot of the small pro fouls that both sides are renouned for and promoted a very free flowing game.

The world cup will indeed be interesting, and I can see maybe another Paddy O'brien in the making!
