Mike, those look awesome.

Hook size?

Is the tail tied on hook shank and with the bend and point cut off, or on a thick nylon extension?

Cheers

Rudy

Thanks, the tail is on a hook with the point cut off like you say...
Back hook is a TMC200R #10 with a B830 #6... total length just under 50mm
About the same size as the average bully in Lake Dunstan

Awesome.  I really like those - they look very very fishy. :)

I tried something like that a while back.  But I had no cheap hooks, so tied the rear on 50# mono.

Works ok, but far too fiddly.  :(

Will need some buy some cheap hooks and cut the point off  I think.
