Thanks guys. Unfortunately no pic. I was completely under-prepared. I just headed out yesterday for an hour to check out a new spot, not expecting to see anything and stumbled across a beauty.
I haven't even started tying mine as yet. I feel like I'm getting left behind!

No worries Shaun, all the more reason to catch another
I wouldn't worry about the fly tying. Last fly swap I had to get them done in a couple of days due to work commitments! I'm sure you'll be fine.
Regards Nick

First two sets in the mail this arvo. Brightened up a dingy day...
Fisherlinz as tied up a very nice variation of the "Woolly Caddis"
Sage has tied a lovely little "Aotea Caddis".
Both patterns will make nice additions to anyone's fly box and look to be good fish takers.
Still plenty of time for the rest of you to sit down and tie your offerings over a nice red or two in front of the fire... (Just don't do what I did the other day and knock over a glass of lager on the tying desk.... Hate that! )

12 yr old Scotch huh? Fair enough. I often sup a wee finger or two of Irish .
I'm currently sneezing and blowing gallons of snot daily from a big dose of Man Flu so I can see a few days off work looming and seeing how its raining, might also deal to a second set myself....
And apparently Tullamore Dew is great for Man Flu
